Alexis Green

Season 4: Mother Henry, Ensemble (Blues for Mister Charlie)

Alexis Green, originally from Phoenix, Arizona and now based in Chicago, earned her BA in Theatre Arts at Arizona State University and her MFA in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Rep.

While at ASU, Alexis created, produced, and performed in The ASU Black Theatre Festival in 2013, which spanned over the month of February and featured over 50 artists from all over Arizona. While at Brown, Alexis co-founded the Brown/Trinity Student Resource Board.  She also conceived and directed Alarum, a devised theatre piece that focused on coping with fear in the current climate of the world.

Some of her favorite credits include: Tituba in The Crucible, Liz Morden in Our Country’s Good, and J.J. in From White Plains (Brown/Trinity); Lorenzo in Blues for Mister Charlie (Bread Loaf School of English); Lily in The Book Club Play and Dierdre in The Cottage (Actor’s Theatre of Phoenix); and Kazarah in Coming of the Hurricane (Black Theatre Troupe).
